The Healing Jesus Campaign in Niamey, Niger ended last Saturday. A dear friend of mine who was at the meetings told me how there were street demonstrations and public radio campaigns against the crusade by the Muslim authorities. He made one observation though, that though the Christian population in Niger is very small, “…they are one”.
God knew what He was talking about when He said of the people of Babel, “…the people is one…now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” – Gen. 11:6, KJV [emphasis mine].
I just saw a cartoon from BBC Comedy, reminds so much of the church conflicts in Mali. Enjoy. Or maybe, don’t enjoy; pray. Because, while we fight, everything around dies…and then we all finally do.
